About the Journal
The Journal of Dermatology and Skin Science is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed open access journal that connects developments in skin science with clinical dermatology practice, from research to patient care.
Its scope covers atopic and contact dermatitis, bacterial and fungal skin infections, pigmentation disorders, hair and scalp conditions and pediatric dermatology, together with immunodermatology and dermatopathology. Procedural and technology-led areas include laser medicine, cosmetic surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery and teledermatology.
The journal publishes original articles, review articles, case reports, clinical images, rapid and short communications, brief reports, perspectives, commentaries and opinions, editorials, letters to the editor, scientific meeting reviews and book reviews. Its editorial and review boards work independently to maintain editorial integrity.
All articles are open access under CC BY 4.0 and receive a DOI.
